Triple de Beethoven and Magrané

How might our perception of a piece we have always heard in the same way change if we were to experience it through a different auditory perspective? What is it like to hear a piece for the first time when the listening experience takes place in an unconventional setting? This is the creative challenge set for Joan Magrané: to compose a new work to be interwoven between the movements of Beethoven’s Triple Concerto, so that the two works become a single, seamless musical experience. The GIO Symphonia, joined by the Trio Fortuny as they celebrate their tenth anniversary, will bring this musical experience to life under the baton of Francesc Prat.
